Zoom audio settings for musicians

Using your computer or notebook, ensure you change the audio profile settings to "Original sound for musicians". This will allow your microphone to pickup your voice as well as piano
If you're using a tablet or mobile phone, then under Settings, please change toggle to "Use Original Audio". This will also allow original sound to be transmitted and heard, otherwise Zoom is attuned to the human voice and not to the music audio spectrum

We've initiated tuition by Zoom for those throughout the Wheatbelt regions who may otherwise have to travel significant distances for weekly lessons.

This service has proven to work well. Rebecca will assist you in ensuring that the default Zoom audio settings are changed to allow both voice and piano to be clearly heard.

You will need an internet connection, and a tablet and/or a mobile phone. Note that in the photo on the left, the student is using both a tablet, and a mobile phone camera which views the piano keyboard. See above information in order to make the audio adjustment to Zoom.
